Why a Singapore-registered account cannot just redeem it
A region-locked code generally will not redeem on an account set to Singapore. To make it work, the account's region has to match the code, which in practice means changing your Xbox account's country setting from Singapore to Argentina or Brazil before redeeming. That is where the real problems start for a Singapore-based buyer:
- It goes against Microsoft's own terms. Your Xbox account region is supposed to reflect where you actually live.
